About the Artist

Lisa Geiger: Art, Beauty, and Focus

Lisa Geiger’s landscapes and florals have been described as beautiful, elegant, and reminiscent of the old masters with Impressionist freshness.

Using oils, watercolors, or pastels, Lisa captures the detailed essence of places she loves: the Wisconsin countryside, Florida beaches, Pennsylvania foothills, Colorado mountains.

Growing up in a quaint Wisconsin village, Lisa found beauty in everyday life. She continues to savor natural beauty, interpreting, expressing, and sharing it with others.

“The past few years we’ve made it a point to pray and surround ourselves with good and beautiful things,” she says.

After raising her sons, Lisa was free to pursue her art with passion and determined, intelligent zeal.

For years, she diligently studied and practiced, bringing her talent to an exceptional level. Light, shadow, color, texture, and composition have been careful considerations in her work.

She continues to select and study with nationally renowned artists such as Joyce Hicks, Doug Dawson, Lois Griffel, Lee Mothes, Nathan Brandner and David Cheifetz who have helped challenge and further her abilities.

Lisa has exhibited her work in various places including:

- The Secura Art Show, Appleton, WI

- Jack Richeson & Co., Inc., Kimberly, WI

- Galleries and shops in Wisconsin and Pennsylvania.
